Technology TournamentCambridge Rotary Club working together with the STEM charity (Science Technology Engineering & Maths) host the Technology Tournament for local schools.
Teams of four pupils aged between 13 and 14 are given a previously unseen technology challenge to solve. They will analyse, plan, create, construct, test and demonstrate their solution to a panel of judges. The challenge enhances the curriculum and gives pupils the opportunity to develop teamwork and communication skills. Prizes will be awarded in number of categories. All entrants will receive a Technology Tournament certificate and students will be eligible to apply for a British Science Association Bronze CREST Award.
